I think she's talking about a friend, that she's been intimate with, only a few occasions, but she's starting to fall in love with him.

"I got a message for you ..." etc.

This is her wanting to let him know she has extra feelings for him, but everytime she goes to do it, she either can't say it, or he cuts her off.

I'm probably way off, but it's my interpretation.

I first heard this song in concert... definetely a favourite of mine! patience and the rest just have such an amazing energy.

I agree with iheartlee, all the way. These guys were awsome live!! make sure you see them if you get the chance. She was jumping around the stage like mad the whole time. hehe. Where'd she get the energy?

i agree with iheartlee, i didn't see it at first, but this part of the song probably means she has a message, but it's being cut off because she can't think of how to verbalize the message. and the fact that the song kind of seems like it's being cut off might emphasize that or whatever.

i think this means, they're friends with benefits, if you know what i'm getting at... and she knows it's wrong to do this, but she doesn't care because she's getting her fix and if they closed their eyes and pretended she were doing it with someone else and vice versa she'd feel better about it
