This is an unrecorded interpol song. Hopefully they record it on their next cd because it is good live but probably great if it were recorded. Also, it is difficult to hear the lyrics live, so some of the above lyrics may be off a little. My interpretation of the song is that he got dumped or he dumped some girl when he was younger. When he says that their starting up the rain again, I think that means one of them is crying. Perhaps the tears are causing the mascara to run down the girls face.

I reckon, that it contains strong Christian, spiritual message. I don`t know if the author is conscious of that, but i find this song beautiful. The most shocking for me is the last part: 'time should slow down'. When i first heard songs of inteprol i thought, that theay are superficial and very similiar to each other. Now i know i was wrong...they are fantastic;]
