Atheists do not beleive in god. dictionary.com: atheist- One who disbelieves or denies the existence of a God, or supreme intelligent Being.

You may be thinking of agnostic: One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God. One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.

But, please, make sure you know about something before you argue with someone about it. You're just making yourself look like a complete moron, because obviously you have no idea what you're talking about.

Ok, first of all, it's not "unfortunate" that there is a large atheist concentration here, and second of all we dont "all thing music is ever about is how there is no God." That's ridiculous. Personally, I agree with taninhawk that this song is about daydreaming and being able to retreat to a place in your own mind where your problems seem to slip away. However, as you say requiem, songs are whatever they mean to you, so kitsune, you are not a "f***ing moron"

This could be about a whole number of things...people tend to create fantasies about all sorts of stuff. Maybe this song isn't about any fantasy in particular. Probably my favorite 30 Seconds to Mars song...by the way, anyone notice "With the light out it's a little less dangerous" in the beginning of the song is the same line from Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit"? Maybe Jared Leto is a fan or something.

Its sad that religon has become a "Fad"...but moving on to the song...I see a combined meaning...like " the fantasy" can be diffrent for anyone. Such as god for some people...or the fantasy of being beautilfull in todays image. I think it can be manny diffrent things for anyone person...but what Jared had in mind....as in what is his Fantasy whos knows...only him...

Hm. I guess I'm bad at this whole meaning thing, because it sounded like the fantasy was a dream (not like a night or day dream). Maybe like, a dream of something you want to be. A dream, like, a band?

"Do you live, do you die, do you bleed, for the fantasy?" To me this was like, what would you sacrifice for the fantasy.

okay i seriously think this song is hey i have an awesome china i should hit it so every1 can masterbate!!!!!! and im thinkin it might be about marijuana or drugs. im not saying that to be an ass either. it really sounds like it to me like fantasy dude u have one just about every time u smoke pot. not saying from experience but i have a few friends that have and ive heard stories. actually the day before yesterday this kid was high in spanish he like tried to share a desk with me and screamed SCOOT OVER THIS IS A KING SIZE MATRESS THERES ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but yea i also know alot of people who live breathe and bleed for drugs. like the spanish matress kid is a friggen junkie no joke. and "t never goes painless"yea drugs are a pian in the ass they are usually hard to quit every time. Ive just listened to an mp3 audio conference from Eckhart Tolle telling about mind and craziness of this world coming from fantasy we create in our mind about a better future that sometimes led us collectively to make anything to reach this fantasy including killing people treated like enemies (but in fact very like us "human"). After the I finished listening to this conference in my bed, Winamp switched to the next song on top of the list (The fantasy), and lol, I never thought that 30 seconds to Mars was trying to make us understand about the same thing. Now I think I understand what this song is about. If you want explanation, search for Eckhart Tolle in library or where ever you want, try it on www.isohunt.com if you feel too lazy to pay for it. Whatever, nice song !! I'm rediscovering 30 seconds to Mars haha !

I think this is about the falseness of religeon, especually nowadays.

I think the song has to do with dreams. day dreams spicifically. How someone may lay in bed at night and carry themself off to a dream land were all their problems are gon, and how it can be so much better than your life that alll you can do through the day is impationtly wait for nightime to day dream again.
