Create upon my flesh
Create approach upon my breath
Bring me salvation if I fear
Take my freedom
Create upon my breath
Create reflection on my flesh
The wealth of love
Bear me a witness to the years
Take my freedom
Create upon my flesh
Create a home within my head
Take my freedom for giving me a sacred love
Create approach upon my breath
Bring me salvation if I fear
Take my freedom
Create reflection on my flesh
The wealth of love
Bear me a witness to the years
Take my freedom
Create a home within my head
Take my freedom for giving me a sacred love

spirit of eden, ed-en, ed, ed hollis. spirit of a dead brother. this song is the most sublime expression of sacred love for a dead brother and kindred spirit, it closes this requiem and it lifts us up, anyone, through music of the soul. the tragedy behind this effort had to kill the pop band, but the music that came from this new band and from the ashes is the most beautiful sound I ever grasped. i wish i could thank someone in person for having felt such wealth. It is a wealth that no one can hear- but which you i am compelled to listen to.
He wants to be bound and shackled by love, because remaining free is nowhere near as good as it sounds if it means being without love.
I wouldn't be surprised if he's referring to God, considering the spiritual themes present in later Talk Talk releases.
