I think this is about a girl, and she fell in love with a guy, and he broke her heart. I think that when they were dating or going out or whatever he acted like he was perfect for her, and she was happy with him while it lasted, but he ended up proving her wrong...

beautfilly written lyrics. cool and hot at the same time -perhaps simmering lyrics and a touch of sadness and loss which is always powerful in a song.
when it echoes the words so beautiful -its quite touching and the left me in the rain endorses the prettyness of thought conveyed.
