Better Now Lyrics
Oh I'm newly calibrated
All shiny and clean
I'm your recent adaptation
Time to redefine me
Let the word out I've got to get out
Oh I'm feeling better now
Break the news out I've got to get out
Oh I'm feeling better now
Oh I'm happy as Christmas
All wrapped to be seen
I'm your recent acquisition
Time to celebrate me
Let the word out I've got to get out
Oh I'm feeling better now
Break the news out I've got to get out
Oh I'm feeling better now
The world's done shaking
The world's done shaking
The world's done shaking me down
The world's done shaking
The world's done shaking
The world's done shaking me down
All shiny and clean
I'm your recent adaptation
Time to redefine me
Oh I'm feeling better now
Break the news out I've got to get out
Oh I'm feeling better now
All wrapped to be seen
I'm your recent acquisition
Time to celebrate me
Oh I'm feeling better now
Break the news out I've got to get out
Oh I'm feeling better now
The world's done shaking
The world's done shaking me down
The world's done shaking
The world's done shaking me down

Awesome song. They should start their shows with song instead of "Counting The Days". It really has set the tone that they are back and ready to write some more good music. Therefore, I think it should be the opening song of all their shows on the "Youth" tour. Its the whole theme of the album.
Yeah great song, they had us sing "the worlds done shaking, the worlds done shaking, the worlds done shaking me down" to bring them out for their encore :P they wouldnt come out for like 5 minutes finally everyone started singin it and they ran out and played Shine. Was pretty badass
I really like this song. I play hockey and the Public Announcer at the arena my home games are played in plays this during our skate around. It's not really a song that gets me fired up, but its a good tune and it keeps me calm and collected before the puck drops. It never gets old, I love this song.
I think this song is about their new record label.
it's the first song to be played in a brand new car! or when i get the new bike!
The lyrics are kind of all over the place, but you can't help but love the deep instrumental and empowering message. A very addictive song, Collective Soul really needs to put more songs out like this.
Went to the Collective Soul concert last night and Ed said he wrote these lyrics after going through a divorce.
