i don't know. the lyrics "i’m the coil unfolding screw back up i’m the flower unfurling, buttercup" sought of sounds like he's blooming, getting his spring back. maybe he he was depressed or something. and the lyrics up there say "reflect, reflect"... but he's saying "result, result". anyhoo, kick ass song

i think its about cancer. chromosomes "revolting" and "pulling blades" from the DNA helix might refer to DNA mutations.

"leave the body to spoil, let it rot" sounds fairly cancerous to me
