i saw this live - it was amazing. yeah, the two songs are very similar. both the lyrics have the similar feeling of obsession too.
This song is about his instrument teachers daughter when he was a child. I dont remember what the instrument was, but it was one that you blow, something like a recorder. So yeah, basically she was pretty and he could'nt take his eyes off her. It was on his website.

I think this song was excellant. The only time I can recall this song being played is on a Glastonbury CD. I always thought The Blowers Daughter's guitar chords sounded a bit like creep. Two great song, and this is a dream come true!
yeah i was very impressed. it's cool to know that damien rice likes creep enough to make it his own b/c i love that song too, and i love him. so it just seems like i can connect with him even more, you know?
