About Her Lyrics
Well no one told me about her
The way she lies
Well no one told me about her
How many people cried
Well no one told me about her
The way she lies
Well no one told me about her
How many people cried
But it’s too late to say you’re sorry
How would I know?
Why should I care?
Please don’t bother to find her
She’s not there
Well no one told me about her
Well no one told me about her
How many people cried
But it’s too late to say you’re sorry
How would I know?
Why should I care?
Please don’t bother trying to find her
She’s not there
She’s not there…
The way she lies
Well no one told me about her
How many people cried
The way she lies
Well no one told me about her
How many people cried
How would I know?
Why should I care?
Please don’t bother to find her
She’s not there
Well no one told me about her
How many people cried
How would I know?
Why should I care?
Please don’t bother trying to find her
She’s not there
She’s not there…

was this released on any albums besides the kill bill soundtrack?
I do not know, I'm afraid.
Anyway, the songs basically about a girl who screws people up by lying and hurting them, but wants to say she's sorry, but the singer's not letting her ("It's too late").
for those of you who don't know...the part of this song listed above is from a song by The Zombies called She's Not There...you should listen and compare the differences in the feeling of the song
the part in the beginning goes:
my babe's got a heart, like a rock thats in the sea my babe's got a heart, like the rock thats in the sea
Actually the beginning goes. "My man's got a heart like a rock cast in the sea"
Yeah, I think it's about a girl who's really screwed up, and hurt the person she loves. And 'she's not there' as in he doesn't love her anymore.
I believe the song is about a woman with a reputation of lying and hurting others.
The singer became involved with her without a warning from others, or perhaps he was warned, but is still blaming others for his' (or her's) mistakes. I get the sense that he's still hurting over her loss, knowing she'll never be back - she's moved onto the next.
My favorite line: "Well no one told me about her/How many people cried"
Such a sad song, really.
very sad song, but the ending gets better and happier. idk, it makes me think of my relationship.
im sure most of your interpretations will be different if you look up the zombies-shes not there.its a good song and thats where they got the majority of this song from.
I'm not easily annoyed, but it does bother me that we can't get the bessie smith lyrics up in here.
