Breakin' Down Lyrics
What was it you once said
That there would be things in life that can't be
Not for a second did I believe you
Not for a minute did I believe that
Within your need you lie alone
This empty space you call your home
If you'd just let me in
I wouldn't let you break down
I'm breakin' down
As if you thought the rain could wash away the day
And could heal you
Not for a second did I believe it
Not for a minute did I believe her
Within your need you lie alone
This empty space you call your home
If you'd just let me in
I wouldn't let you break down
Cause I'm breakin' down
I'm breakin' down
That there would be things in life that can't be
Not for a second did I believe you
Not for a minute did I believe that
This empty space you call your home
I wouldn't let you break down
I'm breakin' down
And could heal you
Not for a minute did I believe her
This empty space you call your home
I wouldn't let you break down
Cause I'm breakin' down

This is one of the best Skid row Songs i have ever heard
Looking at the lyrics again, I'm getting the feeling that this song is about how the narrator loves another and wants to be with them but the person has a "reason" why they can't be together. Then the chorus is all how the narrator is pleading to show them how they won't let them down in the end.
@Cabrosa I totes agree, and I looooooooove this song. Just heard Bas sing this tune live at HOB in Myrtle Beach. My absolute favorite tune of the night. He can still sing his face off!!! Got to meet him too, AWESOME guy. So generous and so kind.

Can you say: SAPPY?
The one and only skid Row song I don't like. What's so great about it? Bach sounds like shit (well, not shit, that's not possible, but about as un-metal as you can get) and as for the lyrics...
This is my favorite Skid Row song. It's so sweet, and meaningful.
totally different from the average Skid Row.
