Here's a funny conversation about this song in my class.
Kid: Did they sing to me like that when I was born? Teacher: Were you born in the 60's or 70's? Kid: Nope, 80's. Teacher: Than no, they probably didn't.
Just wanted to share that!
At the end of the song 'Glow Girl', they sing "It's a girl, Mrs Walker, it's a girl." Of course, the Who Sell Out album came before Tommy, so it must have been derived from there or something.
This morning, I asked this question to my teacher: "Is it a boy or a girl?". She replied: "You say?". I said 'A, and now' and I asked for another good album. A few hours later she answered my question... Well, I guess... 'it is a boy!' and he is called Tommy. Thank you Ann! I love you
WOW! Quite a contribution! This is a pretty sweet song. Of course not a lot of lyrics to be excited about and find the meaning of! It seems not that many people know about it.
Not really a song persay, just a tranisiton to 1921. Still, excellent singing. Gotta love that high voice.
its about mrs. walker having a son
