672 is the international dialing code for Christmas Island and the Cocos Islands. And it's in some Louisiana phone numbers too. Maybe it's abot offshorebank accounts?

I would guess that it's from an address though. Going by the sound of the song, it seems like it's something she's done and she's ashamed of. An old lover, perhaps?

Okay. Here's a compilation of the meanings I've read that I think are possible.

1) No one's ever gonna know what it really means. 2) It doesn't mean a damn thing. It's just there. 3) It has something to do with the license plate on the jeep mentioned in the Jeep Song. 4) Maybe something about the menstrual cycle and abortion, just judging by Amanda's apparent tendency to sing about abortion. 5) Probably the most logical one to me, the 666 + 6 = 672 thing. While the MUSIC isn't, the TONE OF AMANDA'S VOICE is kind of tauting/mocking/sarcastic. Mocking the superstitious people who say all the shit about 666 being an evil number and such. Kind of like "666, huh? Well guess what. Since they made 666 the number of the beast, I'm just gonna make an even bigger beast, lawls. 666+ 6 MORE, IS SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY TWO. [sarcasm]SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY TWO, SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY TWO, SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY TWO! AHHHHHHH! SOMEDAY THEY'LL FIND OUT ABOUT YOU, TOO![/sarcasm]"

actually I'm not sure i listened to this song at maximum volume and she fades away when she sings the last two words... and it SORT of sounds like dying.

For some reason, I've always thought it was either an address number or a number of something. Not saying that Amanda has ever murdered anyone, but I always think the song is about person number 672 to die. Someday they'll find the body and find out about the murder, but until then.. Maybe it could be about an abortion also? Again, not saying that Amanda has had 672 abortions or anything, I'm just saying what's on my mind. The address thing (or area code, kudos Jonestown) is probably the best explanantion. Maybe there really /is/ no meaning, though. The words are pretty poetic by themselves. Ah well. Maybe we'll know someday.
