This song is about the how crazy you feel when you're in love(Racy Days). It's about how this love has blown open your previously stale life(Hopeless haze) But she doesn't love you back, or at least you don't think she does, and you hurt inside(tragic eyes) You dream of asking her, and your not used to seeing yourself this way(can't even recognize) But you don't know what that answer will be, and if it's no, you'll do anything to make it yes(change your mind)

You think she loves you too(we've felt like this before) But you're too scared to ask her, so you hide(while i ignore) But you wish that if you have a chance with her, she'd give some positive signal(if i have a chance)

We're all the same and love can befall anyone of us at anytime(love is blind) But just as you fall in love and the sunlight begins to break through in your heart, it is cut back by the thought that she'd never have you(the sun is gone)

And you just wish to ask her, and make sure her answer is yes, she loves you too(can I change your mind)

Too deep, some of you! I reckon its a song about two people who like each other but have never said anything and are scared to (him particularly). 'While I ignore, that we both felt like this before, it starts to show' - him saying that it has gone unsaid for a long time but now, he's betraying it by his actions and it's ruining things between them as mates (we've all been there). The the stuff about tragic eyes etc, he's talking about looking at his own reflection and not recognising himself because of what his feelings are doing to him.

This is a really good song. Maybe he wants a girl and she doesn't really want him for whatever reason and he wants to "change her mind" I can't believe no one commented on this!!

This song is definitely one of the many, many, many songs that describe me or how I feel. :-P I have a huge list of those that I won't post. But about the song itself, in my opinion, Jonesyfan got it right.

Is it just me or does this song sound like The Strokes?? Love it! Good sing along track, and im sure we can all relate to wanting someone and them not wanting us!
