Straight hate

this song made me think of the army. its like he's fucking sick of the government useing him like that but theres nothing he can do about it (youre just a pawn in the game so fuck you). I saw this video on headbangers ball, went online and downloaded it and now i think i'm gonna go buy the cd cuz this song FUCKING OWNS your mom in the face

this song is amazing. What does it mean to me? It means...I guess it does remind me of the military. How they transform them into monsters, and all they can do afterwards is kill, or be killed. Red, white, and blessed blue...that part sounds like sarcasm, saying that they're praising this nation doing these cruel things to them. They're just being manipulated...like pawns. What a crappy feeling. I'm still going to join the Army, just because I have that feeling inside of me...and college is expensive.

This song is great. It's basically expressing hatred against the government and how they are being used like worthless pawns to die for a meaningless war, and that their death won't be missed by the government. The "We rise. Red, white, and blessed blue." is a sarcastic line. But it's true that this song is awesome. I can't stop listening to it.

I agree about it being about the military. I especially love the whole "we rise red, white and blessed blue" part, about the colours of their country.

I read they wrote the song for the soldiers in Iraq to get by. Also said it didn't have a political point.

i think that this song is for the troops in Iraq. I know that it is the stereotype to immediately believe that every song is made to hate on the government (most are anyways), but i think that this song was made to get the troops pumped up, and if it is supposed to be directed at the government, it is still atleast supporting the troops

This song is like what the government thinks about the people who fight to save there a**! It is "f*ing insane." All the government has for soldiers is "straight hate". They expect them to put there life on the line for their country but it doesn't mean anything because they are not rich or a big-shot in politics or some bullst like that. "Walk away you never had a chance" is saying to me that what is the point of saying you are done fighting they will always find a way to fk you over in some way. This song is just a big FK YOU to the government!
