Plunder Lyrics
Disconnect
Slowly drift
Far away
A low feeling
No healing
A heart of stone
And as I plunder
As I fall astray
And if I should wonder
Could you help me find my way
Intercept
Lonely tears
Along the way
No passage
Here after
You're on your own
And as I plunder
As I fall astray
And if I should wonder
Could you help me find my way
Could you help me find my way
as I plunder
As I fall astray
And if I should wonder
Could you help me find my way
as I plunder
As I fall astray
And if I should wonder
Could you help me find my way
Could you help me find my way
Slowly drift
Far away
No healing
A heart of stone
As I fall astray
And if I should wonder
Could you help me find my way
Lonely tears
Along the way
Here after
You're on your own
As I fall astray
And if I should wonder
Could you help me find my way
Could you help me find my way
As I fall astray
And if I should wonder
Could you help me find my way
As I fall astray
And if I should wonder
Could you help me find my way
Could you help me find my way

i think is about him taking things from people but he wants to find his way
Now I don't exactly agree with the other interpretations but to each his own I suppose.
"A low feeling No healing A heart of stone"
To me, he suffers from depression. Although I know "plunder" means to steal/ravage/pillage as the above comments suggest, in this context I think it means he's become devastated or ruined as a result of depression and needs help.
"And as I plunder As I fall astray And if I should wonder Could you help me find my way"
Yet no one helps him. He feels alone.
"No passage Here after You're on your own"
I may be wrong but you get the idea...
i love this song but it sounds like "little spider" by scum of the earth
this song, to me, is about a person who has just died and is in a purgatory-like state and he is asking a deceased person he knows to help him try to get to "heaven." However, in the lines "No passage Here after You're on your own" The deceased person cannot help him because of his past actions. So his soul is in turn "plundered" by his past actions.
I think this song is about him going through depression and trying to find is way back to being his normal self. But he cannot do it by himself. I also think he is suffering from an addiction he needs help finding his way out of. This is the type of song I would write if I was in rehab. But that is just my point of view...
