When there's nowhere else to run
Is there room for one more son
One more son
If you can hold on
If you can hold on, hold on
I want to stand up, I want to let go
You know, you know, no you don't, you don't
I want to shine on in the hearts of men
I want a meaning from the back of my broken hand

Another head aches, another heart breaks
I am so much older than I can take
And my affection, well it comes and goes
I need direction to perfection, no no no no

Help me out, yeah
You know you got to help me out, yeah
Oh don't you put me on the backburner
You know you got to help me out, yeah

And when there's nowhere else to run
Is there room for one more son
These changes ain't changing me
The cold hearted boy I used to be

Yeah, you know you got to help me out
Yeah, oh don't you put me on the backburner
You know you got to help me out, yeah
You're gonna bring yourself down, yeah
You're gonna bring yourself down, yeah
You're gonna bring yourself down

I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier

(Time, truth and hearts)
Yeah, you know you got to help me out
Yeah, oh don't you put me on the backburner
You know you got to help me out, yeah
You're gonna bring yourself down, yeah
You're gonna bring yourself down, yeah
Oh don't you put me on the backburner
You're gonna bring yourself down, yeah
You're gonna bring yourself down

Over and in, last call for sin
While everyone's lost, the battle is won
With all these things that I've done
All these things that I've done
(Time, truth and hearts)
If you can hold on
If you can hold on

The video's seven parts are shown out of order, Pulp Fiction style. The numbers (0-7) can be used to put it in the right order, with the exception that 0 comes after 7.

1: Clean-shaven Brandon comes home to his wife, who slaps him because he has lipstick on his cheek. He takes a shower, but falls downward offscreen.

2: He lands in a trailer park, with his three bandmates, all dressed as cowboys with moustaches.

3: They start walking, and come across a donkey and a midget. They try out the donkey.

4: While still looking at the donkey, a convertible drives by filled with four sexy women. They are pulling a trailer with a light-up sign on it that reads "thekillersluts". The car parks and the women go into a house. The cowboys run over and tear off the sign. They break the lights on the last four letters, so the sign now reads "thekillers".

5: Fleeing the women who are now chasing them, the men run into an abandoned theme park and lose their pursuers.

6: Walking through a field now, they come face to face with the girls. They turn and run, and the women assault them with boomerangs. Three of the cowboys fall, but not Brandon, who bats away the weapons with the stolen sign. After hitting away all the boomerangs, he dramatically plants the sign into the ground.

7: Turning and walking from the sign, one of the girls has a last boomerang. She throws it and hits Brandon, who falls face-first into a puddle of water.

0: Slow motion of the fall into the water, and then a final shot of the girl merely walking away into the distance.

    Bam.
