Burrito Lyrics

I try to hide myself
Give this to someone else
My hands are stained with scum
Wish I could wash it away
You keep taking, taking away
And keep breaking, breaking, break

I can't believe in yesterday
I feel you coming in
I can't just stand by and watch you
Save yourself as you fall from grace
When you come around I won't be your sympathy

The worst is over now
You said it anyhow
My life in monochrome
Wish I could regain control
You keep taking, taking away
I keep faking, faking, fake
Find me, feel me, fill me, then cut me up again
Find me, feel me, fill me, then cut me up
Hate
Me
Hate

"Burrito" refers to the desire to hide away from the world. The narrator could be an accomplice in a wrongdoing. Or, he feels guilty for having stood by as someone he knew did something he didn't agree with.

Man oh man could I go for some burritos....

This song, kinda reminds me of Alice in Chains - Again, simply by the mere fact of the style the guitar is being, played, quick jabbing crunching sound more than anything. Granted AIC isnt the only band to do play song this way, but it does come into my mind...

This song is about watching someone who has caused you struggle in your life struggle themselves, and knowing thtey will still cause difficulty for you..... thats my garnishment anyway..... is that even a word ^

I think this song is about being hurt and as your being hurt watching the same person suffer aswell, They hate you, You don't want this just give it to someone else, very relatable unsure thats a word, Anyways I like this song and yes it does remind you a bit of AIC. ^_^

Shaun was watching an Ozzy Osbourne epi on MTV, and Ozzy kept saying: (in SHAUN'S English accent) '"You want some burritos? Anybody want some burritos? Kelly, want some burritos?"' Then he laughs, and he says that that's where the title came from. He does a damned good impression of Ozzy to! Lol. Pick up "ONE COLD NIGHT", and watch the DVD interview!!! SEETHER has they're own sound. Not like PJ, not like AIC, and not like Nirvana, but like SEETHER. I think the song fits well here like someone else said. It's about someone who's hurting you, and their hurting themselves in the process. The thing is, you expect to get relief, or even pleasure from watching them hurt themselves, but you don't, because they're still hurting you. So he wants to find a way to let it go. "Give this to someone else." And to get rid of the scum, the person who's scum. "Wish I could wash it away." And get his life back. "Wish I could regain control." He just got out of rehab, so this could also be a metaphor for his addictions. He knows that their scum, bad for him, and he wants to be rid of them, but he doesn't know how. So there's more then one way to look at this.

Interesting story. Just a little aside, though - Shaun is South African, not English.
