A Kick in the Teeth Lyrics
Sawing
With my jaw tooth down
Guarded
Down upside frown
I'm
I'm looking for a pill
Something to ease my will
A kick in the teeth
You
You may not realize
What it does or why
But it may be the best thing
It may be the best thing.
Ooo
And it may be the best thing
Pulsing
With a familiar pain
A comfort
From this disdain
Grind away
I'm
I'm looking for a thrill
Something to ease my will
You
You may not realize
What it does or why
But it may be the best thing
It may be the best thing
Ooo
And it may be the best thing
With my jaw tooth down
Down upside frown
I'm looking for a pill
Something to ease my will
A kick in the teeth
You may not realize
What it does or why
But it may be the best thing
It may be the best thing.
Ooo
And it may be the best thing
With a familiar pain
From this disdain
Grind away
I'm looking for a thrill
Something to ease my will
You may not realize
What it does or why
It may be the best thing
Ooo
And it may be the best thing

"i'm looking for a pill. something to ease my will" "grind away"
this song my friends is about E. because it comes in PILLS and makes you GRIND your teeth like crazy.
I think he's looking for ecstacy...but not the drug.
"Pulsing With a familiar pain"
All the lyrics seem to point to E, except for that quote. Unless it's because he turns to E when he's in pain, to forget about it.
I like indiediane's comment lol
To me this song is about needing to shake things up to get out of a mental state of willful complacency. We get into routines and become closed off and unhappy. Sometimes we cling so hard to something and when it’s gone we can be open again. A drug or a cheap thrill won’t do it, we need an impetus to change.
