In The Movies Lyrics
In the movies, they can sing out of tune.
And their whole lives are spent practicing moods.
Almost always, prepare to hide from the rain
Almost always, prepare to hide.
In the movies, they can keep a straight face.
And their whole life is 18th century champagne.
Almost always, building mountains of air.
Almost always, marching down spiral stairs.
I don't mind if your leaving me behind.
I'm already there with my friends up on the screen.
And their whole lives are spent practicing moods.
Almost always, prepare to hide from the rain
Almost always, prepare to hide.
And their whole life is 18th century champagne.
Almost always, building mountains of air.
Almost always, marching down spiral stairs.
I'm already there with my friends up on the screen.

I think this song is about the facade people don every day in order to interact with the world around them. We practiice our "moods" and then step up on the screen and act them out, the performance for which our audience assesses.
Allisyn's voice is so soothing. This song remains my favorite from the Hydra, and it reminds me of her whenever I hear it.
