it's not about a break up.. "the fact that she is in the Earth and you never got to say goodbye" sounds to me like marigold died.
It seems it's about how he's dealing with the death of a girl he loved, and how he can never have her there with him ever again.

And I agree with the idea of this being about a death of a girl, j5gaydos points it out directly. This song is simply amazing, I wonder why id didnt make the album as a song instead of "PC only" - nevertheless, its a brilliant track.

This song was given out for free on 1/11/06 from their record company, 111 records. But if you ask me, this songs about a break up..
Oh, and i thought the lyrics went "chewing off my tongue" not toe, cause it makes more sence?
