-What about my ankles, do you like them?
Yes.
-And my thighs too?
Also.
-Do you think they're pretty?
Very.
-Do you like my face too?
Yes, I love your face.
-Do you think I have a pretty backside?
Very pretty.
-What about my ankles, do you like them?
Yes, enormously.
-You like all of me, my mouth, my eyes, my nose, my ears?
-Me too, Paul.

it's a scene from jean-luc godard's 1963 movie contempt. it originally takes place between a man and a woman. the woman is inquiring. it's a scene my girlfriend loves.
@tiredgorilla very interesting that you recognized it!

The last song on this album, "Deaf Kids," also has a nod to the film CONTEMPT. The album and film both end with the same sound clip of someone saying "Silencio" into a loudspeaker. (I had to leave that little tidbit here, because "Deaf Kids" has no other lyrics to speak of, and therefore no entry!)
this song cracked me up when i first heard it.
i find the scene in that film very inspiring.
