Fire Sign Lyrics

Should have told me
Seemed like an ordinary day
Everything seemed to be okay

Did it hurt you?
These are the scars you never show
She is a fire sign you know
One day you're near and then you go

Here is a looking glass what do you see
There is nothing there but me
There was a wishing well I jumped into
Nothing came true

They deceive you
There was a wall you had to find
The echoes in your mind

You'll surrender
These are the lessons that you learn
Nobody hears, no one's concerned
One day it's clear and then you burn

Here is the wishing well I jumped into
Nothing came true
Here is a looking glass what do you see
Sorry it's just me

Even just a sound and all your cards are down
Even just a sound
Let me lay you down
Don't have to make a sound
I would lay you down

It surrounds you
Sometimes it's easy to believe
Sometimes it hurts more then it seems

Now it's over
These are the scars you never show
There was a warning sign, you know
One day you're near and then you go (x3)

There are multiple remixes of this, very hard sounding but exemplary. Check out on youtube "fire sign trance". Really. I heard them first, then the original by David Berkeley, interesting what many have done with it.

This.

Check out Agulo feat David Berkeley - Fire Sign (Freigeist Remix) it's fan-fucking-tastic. I haven't even listened to the original yet.

"Without a Trace" - Thanks for playing this amazing piece of music!

First thing i did after the episode, found it on youtube, and then i went to buy strings for my guitar, that i haven't touched for 4 years.

I love how the whole meaning of the song can change. First time i heard it i thought of it as a nice and cozy song. But then when you listen to the lyrics.... It is SO deep. A bit harsh, but covered with the softness of the beautyful guitar playing.

You can enjoy it no matter what mood you find yourself in.

This is an amazing song... They played it on an episode of Without a Trace while a 12-year-old boy attempted to kill himself. This song is so self-explanatory: it's about hurt, the things that hurt and how we try to get through them day to day.

I saw that episode. That was a tough scene to watch. It really hit me when you see the young FBI dude with tears in his eyes as they pull the kid down. This song was absolutely perfect for it.

But I liked the part about the scars that you never show, because everyone has painful reminders that they try to keep hidden.

This is quite possibly the most achingly beautiful song I have ever heard. The vocals are haunting, and the acoustic guitar is perfect. I love this song more than I can ever explain.

I, too, heard of this song on without a trace. Great song.

Good episode, too.
