Is it just me, or does this song sound like it's about a suicidal girl? He's telling Natalie that the world needs her, and she can pull through. Maybe her trembling hand is holding a gun or a blade or something?

i'm not natalie, but this is one of greatest songs E ever written. it so subtle and warmhearted. i'm seeing the video already.

i think it's extremely warmhearted because why would a cold person be trying to talk someone out of committing suicide? he's telling her to look at all what's in front of her and realize that the world needs her.

I read an article recently that had mentioned E's sister commited suicide before this album was made. So I definitly think this is a song about a girl who wants to commit suicide but E is asking her not to. I don't know if this is about his sister or just a song or something else entirely, but they seem to go with one another.
This song is beautiful, the entire album of Blinking Lights is really, whenever I need to feel okay again, I put in this cd.
I'm not sure about this, but I think I read somewhere that natalie was everett's friend and she had cancer.
