Soy Bomb was something that happened at an awards ceremony, it was supposed to be performance art but it didn't have real meaning to it, so the idea of the song is that all these things are happening in our lives that don't have any meaning and what we have to do is try to find some sort of meaning in our lives and sort through all the stuff we do that doesn't matter.

This songs speaks volumes about how I feel right now. Soy Bomb was the name of a band I was in when I was 14/15 (early to mid 1998), so the line about "Whatever happened to Soy Bomb?" Has paticular meaning for me beyond the standard meaning.
