Aaaah I love this song. I'm not sure I fully understand what he's saying with these three examples...that we know what's going on, but we don't really care. Oh, we could catch you if we wanted, it's just not that important to us.
the point i've gleaned, especially after considering the relationship of the title to the lyrics, is that his wife has left with someone else, and he just wants her to come back. he's willing to forgive her and not have it be a big deal, he just wants her to come back. he's pretty blase about the injustices in his life.
