its obvious that in this part of the song that he's realised she's using him. the initial infatuation has dropped and now he cares about how he's being treated and decided "This has got to die/This has got to stop". its like the golden senario: you love someone and they don't love you back but instead use their power over you for their own gain (mainly because they know you'll have sex with them the moment they click their fingers.)

can you hear the bitterness as you read this?

This is by far one of the nicest and saddest songs I've heard Damien Rice play. It doesn't sound like the 1st part and sometimes when he plays it live he plays it along to a few chords of Radiohead's Creep... Very bitter and damn, do I love it so.
