Corner Stone Lyrics
The stone that the builder refuse
Will always be the head cornerstone-a; sing it brother
The stone that the builder refuse
Will always be the head cornerstone.
You're a builder, baby;
Here I am, a stone.
Don't you pick and refuse me,
'Cause the things people refuse
Are the things they should choose.
Do you 'ear me? Hear what I say!
Stone that the builder refuse
Will always be the head cornerstone-a; tell me why
The stone that the builder refuse, yeah! -
Will always be the head cornerstone.
You're a builder, baby;
Wo, here I am, a stone!
Don't you pick and refuse me,
'Cause the tings people refuse
Are the things they should use;
The things people refuse
Are the things they should use.
Do you 'ear me? Hear what I say!

this song is talking about how the people and things that are left over or left out are the most important, it says the things people refuse are the things they should use and that means treat everybody alike.
19Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, 20built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. ephesians 19-21
6For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."[a] 7Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone 1 Peter 2:6-7
When Bob Marley went to his father's company to ask about money for his new car, he got rejected, they didin't belive him that he was son of Norval Marley. He felt like a rejected stone. So he wrote this song. "The stone that the builder refuse will always be the head cornerstone."
Its about how he felt rejected after going to see Haile Selassie, he being the builder and Bob being the stone
His father never accepted him as being his son, he's father his in fact a buldier and he is the corner stone :)
Yes he felt rejected but it was not for a car. he went to go see his father personally, to see him and meet him but when he said "dad" Norval said to Bob Marley's face that he did not have a son and Bob never came back to see him and he wrote this song to show that he might be the ugliest stone and he might be unwanted but he is the foundation he is the most important he Norval could have gotten more money he would have been more wealthy {fact} but he rejected Bob and thats a mistake. (im sorry you all probly have good reasons for your answers but my dad is the on who intervened him/ but your all very close:)
