Learn To Sing Lyrics
There's too many ways, too many ways, I could spend hours in my day,
So many ways, so many ways, I could spend money I've made,
And if I try, I'll never have to learn a thing,
There's too many ways, too many ways, I could spend hours in my day,
And we'll see, when winter's finally broken,
Everything, the words that we have spoken,
We'll only need a thing,
And if we fail to notice, what they have tried to show us,
We'll never learn to sing,
You're never alone, never alone, can't you see you only think so?
Favorite show, favorite show, turn it on can't miss an episode,
And if you try you'll never have to learn a thing,
Never alone, never alone, can't you see you only think so?
And we'll see, when winter's finally broken,
Everything, the words that we have spoken,
We'll only need a thing,
And if we fail to notice, what they have tried to show us,
We'll never learn to sing,
The music's loud, the tv's loud, the radio is on,
I'm making sure there's plenty of noise, so I can sing out loud,
The music's loud, the tv's loud, the radio is on,
I'm making sure there's plenty of noise, so I can sing out loud,
(The music's loud, the tv's loud, the radio is on[x4])
So many ways, so many ways, I could spend money I've made,
And if I try, I'll never have to learn a thing,

I don't know why, but i really like the way this song ends. for some reason it makes me want to cry.
i think it's about learning from your mistakes.
"And if we fail to notice, what they have tried to show us, We'll never learn to sing"
if we fail to notice what we did wrong, or what someone else has corrected for you, then you'll never learn anything.
this song just about matches the greatness of sherwood
I'm pretty sure the lyrics at the end should be "so I can't see I'm wrong", NOT "so I can sing out loud".
It makes sense if you remember that the song is about the ways we avoid facing truth our lives. It's easier to drown out the important lessons would should be learning by not ever facing our own thoughts (and God) in silence. But if we continue to drown out the message we should be listening to, we'll be unfulfilled; "we'll never learn to sing."
This song grew on me. Basically, I think that it's about perhaps taking more risks in life... or, yeah, learning from what you've been through... and trying to grow from that... before life swallows you whole.
I think this song is about not living your life through movies, tv books and music but never really getting out and Living. the result is that you never learn anything for yourself, and in spite of watching TV and Movies which are often encouraging people to LIVE (yes, all caps), you won't even learn what they are teaching because you are so busy trying to drown out your life in secondary media. when you do this, the lessons you could have learned from TV, Movies, etc. (which are meant as a supplement for life, not a substitute) just become useless noise. your life is meaningless.
i think this is a song to the current generation, not to just get lost in technology for the sake of technology, but to actually still live and interact with people. only then will we truly learn to sing.
