The Late Great Libido Lyrics
Four score seven years to go,
I've done it all with none to show.
By now you think I'd ask myself,
Think I'd try to pin it down.
Don't stop it's almost over now.
Whisper softly across your mouth.
Last breath then I'm finally done.
You've always made me feel so young.
Now I wait too much for me.
Longer still, or so it seems.
Four score seven years to go,
I've done it all with none to show.
Now I wait too much for me.
Longer still, or so it seems.
I've done it all with none to show.
By now you think I'd ask myself,
Think I'd try to pin it down.
Whisper softly across your mouth.
Last breath then I'm finally done.
You've always made me feel so young.
Now I wait too much for me.
Longer still, or so it seems.
I've done it all with none to show.
Now I wait too much for me.
Longer still, or so it seems.

This song is about giving up... Realizing that you have done so much in your life and made no impact and have nothing to show for the progress you feel you made.
it's about orgasming
It's a great song...and in some respects, I agree with both of you. The first line references one of the most famous speaches of all time. This makes me think the song about never achieving anything great, even though you've tried. Now the title and the second part of the song kinda prove that the song is about never really achieving or feeling anything from sex. As if sex were a meaningless action that he's just going through. Or so it seems...
Its about sex and never having anything to show for the accomplishments in your life.
Perhaps about a midlife crisis?
I love the saxaphone in this song. It's so beautiful.
i think when the guitar and saxophone kick in around 3 min mark is effin orgasmic.
