Ready Lyrics

I've been waiting for good news,
We're to continue singing these ones,
To the same demographic,
Be it not perfect,
Let it be heard, by those taking an interest
Not for the critics holding their ears,

Gonna get ready,
Gonna get ready,

I've been waiting for answers,
Dancing in circles, making me sick,
I've been chained like a tiger,
To hundreds of liars, all holding hands,

Gonna get ready,
Gonna get ready,

Now I'm calling all the time,
All I wanted was a little bit of time for me to try,
Try to get up,
I'm gonna get up,
All they wanted was a little bit of time for me to clear my head,
To clear my head,

I'm calling all the time,
All I wanted was a little bit of time for me to try,
Try to get up,
I'm gonna get up,
All they wanted was a little bit of time for me to clear my head,
To clear my head,

Well I'm calling all the time,
All I wanted was a little bit of time for me to try,
Try to get up,
I'm gonna get up,
All they wanted was a little bit of time for me to clear my head,
To clear my head,

Gotta clear it up,
Now I'm calling all the time,
All I wanted was a little bit of time for me to try,
Try to get up,
I'm gonna get up,
All they wanted was a little bit of time for me to clear my head,
To clear my head,

Well I'm calling all the time,
All I wanted was a little bit of time for me to try,
Try to get up,
I'm gonna get up,
All they wanted was a little bit of time for me to clear my head,
To clear my head,

Gonna get ready,
Gonna get ready,
I'm already ready,
Gonna get...

Just to let everyone know if you listen closely to around 3:05 into the song you can hear max bemis say.."I watch my yellow cat hey, hey, hey i watch my yellow cat"

This is probably my favorite song off the new cd. Starts out slow and gradually speeds up and is filled with emotion. Max Bemis\' appearance isn\'t really that evident until the end of the song and then you hear him more clearly in the background. Great great song is all I can say.

this song is beautiful... If only she woulda waited for him to make his decisions cause obviously he cared about her...

btw is that the singer of Say Anything at the end saying "For You"? it sounds just like him

yeah, Max Bemis, singer of Say Anything. I would've preferred him to have a bigger role in the song besides the background vocals that you wouldn't know who was singing if it didn't say it was featuring Max. At least that is till the end when you can clearly make him out with the "for you" part. But nonetheless this song is my favorite.

BEAUTIFUL SONG. I love how the starting lines beats are pop/punkish, but the lyrics noone can compete with. The lyrics are solid and their songs all are very, very meaningful. This song is no exeption. I think it's about a relationship that's not perfect but a lot of people are judging it. The singer is waiting to see what happens, and he's getting ready for it. But all he needed was time and it would have been okay.. it's beautiful. That's all I can say.

Just a great song here. Fedorov seems like you know your shit. I also agree that Max couldve been involved a little more maybe with a verse somewhat like Kenny did with The Early November in "Fluxy". I see that this song somewhat resembles that song based on the way it was wrote and the relationship contrasts. Haah its just a song but a damn good one. Along with the rest of the album just great all around. Can't wait to have my signed one on tuesday.

in this case, geniegirl, i think the "relationship" being referred to is that between the band and the record company, just look at the first verse.

Has anyone else noticed max from SA singing the lines "i watch my yellow cat hey hey" from Yellow cat/ Red Cat near the end of the song??

chiswell! that is so interesting... this is like discovering the objectin a 3D computer image! I totally didn't hear that line til I strained and hear it at around the 3 minute mark. Max has such a recognizable voice... I heard this song before I knew Max was in it... and as soon as I heard it... it was obviously him... but the yellow cat thing is really strange... and random. but kudos for noticing it... or at least bringin it to my attention.
