This song is amamzing. It seems to be about a long distance type relationship. Or at least one or the other might not be around a lot. A lot of feeling in this song.

Sigh....so true. This reminds me of my best friend. After going through a bad breakup, I got closer to my him. Then he moved away to Florida from Jersey and went through a breakup just like mine. Now we realize that we could really have something going if it wasn't for the fact that we live in two different states.

this song reminds me of someone who lives 1000 miles away from me. and i only get to see that person once (twice if im lucky) a year.

everybody should love this song. the lyrics are pretty self-explanatory.. my fav lines are "i can name all 50 states, 48 get in the way from me being next to you"
This is about a guy and a girl. The girl moves away, but comes back to visit a little at a time. 48 states get in the way of the guy being close to the girl. He gets really lonely when she leaves, and cannot stand her being away from him. He wants her to always be where he can see her.
A song of loneliness, missing someone that lives or moves away or keeps leaving you for whatever reason... and you just want them near you, around.
