wow why hasn't anybody commented on this song?? its definitely one of the best on the cd. i saw them play this accoustic at a concert on friday night it was awesome. i love the part "i'm feeling this moment, so perfect..." and how the guy's voice get's all hoarse.
anyways the meaning is kindof obvious: a guy has been masking himself to the one he loves and he's showing her now who he really is and asking her what she thinks.
This is a great song.... However, the meaning of this song (and most of the songs) are about God. All the members in Novice are very Christian. Plus, my wife is friends with them. Was in band in HS with them.

According to the Christian worldview, God is always here whether we want to see it or not. Therefore for him to say "don't walk away" would be frivolous. In addition, God always knows how we feel and if you've heard the song then you've heard how much emphasis is put on "to tell you just how i feel."
Then again, it could be about God.
