All The Young Fascists Lyrics

Fuck the four walls that you're stuck with, fuck it.
Yeah we got different opinions, well fuck it.
Last chance for a dance,
To bring it down, lay it low.
They talk the talk, talk of the last days coming.
I don't believe a fucking word of it, nothing.
For your kin, for your King,
Right now you should know

That they're taking all the colours away,
Can't put it back together again.
They're taking all the colours away,
We'll never forgive,
And we will never forget.

Chop the tree down and replace it with nothing.
They kill ideas at the push of a button.
Pull your strings, do your thing.
You're just a puppet, right?

Fire...

And they're taking all the colours away,
Can't put it back together again.
They're taking all the colours away,
We'll never forgive,
And we will never forget.

Let Go.

Fire...

And they're taking all the colours away,
Can't put it back together again.
They're taking all the colours away,
Its been this way forever, yeah
Taking all the colours away,
We'll never forgive,
Taking all the colours away.
And we will never forget.

Fuck the four walls that you're stuck with, fuck it.
Yeah we got different opinions, well fuck it.
Last chance for a dance,
To bring it down, lay it low

If there was any doubt that the 'Had are back, this has erased it. Awesome tune!! It's either about the way some countries are being governed at the moment, or a shot at the groups that criticise said government's tactics. Either works.

It seems to be about simple acceptance of your situation, not questioning the world around you (fascists - rigid/unquestioning?). The song says to me 'don't let anyone else fuck up something that matters to you without you doing something to stop it'

its all about authority. anyone who has gone to a strict private school would agree with me. taking all the colours away could this symbolise individuality? can you count colours?

The start of the song (first couple of lines) makes me think of the ways that people limit themselves by being closed-minded.

First line of the 2nd verse is referring to One Tree Hill in Auckland (I think), and how the one tree got chopped down and they didn't replace it
