Broadcast Quality Lyrics
How'd you know to find me here? Tipped off you tipped toed to the tune of
tapped wires and insider information. This manifested destiny, you think
you can bestow on me. An epidemic with allure that brings intrigue to the
dullest minds.
Fix your broken eyes on me she said. As she draped her arms around my neck.
Her wrist felt like rope as they grazed neck and her fingers like spiders
spun a web my body couldn't shed
And on the eve of battle I'll lay these arms to rest. Have my subordinate
coordinates turned themselves in?
Transmitted and encoded but my encryptions have eroded. Now my whereabouts
are living in the airwaves thanks to me.
Her fingers, like spiders, spun a web my body couldn't shed.
Flee the factory.

no comments on this song? definitly the best track on the cd.. the guitar part is awsome in the beginging
definately sounds like a girl is way too obsessed about a guy. How come no one is commenting on this band. They are pretty much awesome
idk. with the complexity of the subjects that TREOS tend to write about, it doesn't seem like them to just be writing about a girl obsessed with a guy. I really have no idea though so i could be wrong =p
Does anyone else think of Martha Stewart when they hear this song?
...Maybe I'm a bit touched.
Sounds like the way people are judged on the quality of their outward appearances (which would explain the title, their "broadcast quality"). The guy doesn't feel like resisting and "lays his arms to rest." His "subordinate coordinates," or his true identity, has been lost thanks to the girl's deceptive "web."
Someone elaborate. I don't feel like typing any more.
I like the first verse it's extremely creative! but then again all of these guys lyrics are creative and so unique. I also like the "..fingers like spiders.." line but I think it's much better when it's said "I" instead of "her" IMO.
One of my fave TREOS songs ever and I think the meaning is pretty straigt forward.
ok honestly i dont think this song is just about a girl
this whole cd i think is telling the story of someone who is on death row and has escaped from prison and in the end if caught and executed
this particular song is about him/her sending some kind of radio signal and having it intercepted, giving away their location
"her fingers like spiders spun a web my body couldnt shed" symbolizes perhaps handcuffs or some type of restraint
im sure that every song in this cd does have some other meaning rahter than telling a part of the story but these lyrics are far to intricate for me to understand what that meaning is
treos has a gd point i also thought it was about a girl but then i remembered wat my friend told me wen he introduced me to them telling me that th CD was a story very much like A Fever You Cant Sweat Out by Panic! at the Disco
i personally think this song is about lust, and every man's struggle with it. i think lust can ultimately destroy a man ("but her wrists felt just like rope, like rope, as they grazed my neck")

I agree with how treos26 described this song, but the other meaning I felt from this song definitely relates to a girl. "Her fingers, like spiders, spun a web my body couldn't shed" really sounds like someone being in love with someone, having the relationship fall apart and being caught in a web of memories spun by the girl.
