should we take the day... ...maybe go to the beach? What do you want me to say now baby, I may be gone...but never out of reach. Ooh, baby blue. Ooh...
Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
No way guys!
The song is Dev's way of portraying that all the negativity and hate he previously showed towards love isn't all he feels.
He's trying to highlight that he still has a soft side towards it and it's not all bad.
Devin is bipolar, and was off of his medication while making Alien. I think this song sounds like a mood shift from the rest of the album (this song is soothing, while the rest of the album is incredibly pissed off).
Lyricaly I have only the foggiest idea how this song fits into the album's grand scheme. Musically it's clearly meant to serve as a cooldown after the relentless intensity preceding it. Logically it would make more sense for it to follow "We Ride" though for a true jekyll and hyde effect.
As far as the lyrics go, my stab at it is Devin, recoiling from the turbulent world he's been describing in every single song before it, is inviting the subject into a drug trip.
This song is hard to get the meaning of. I thought at first that Devin had the courage to set aside a love song on the album, but I kind of doubt that.
not sure what this song means but it's so damn cool. it's tranquil...mad to listen to. dev is a massively talented man, turning it up often but easing the tempo at will. great stuff

Total piss take, the whole "should we take the day maybe go to the beach" is in complete contrast to the rest of the album.
This was a bit of a pre-cursor to the whole 'New Black' album where it is even more of a parody of metal and other styles.
Although the sound of kids crying at the end of the song is just plain creepy.

I agree with the first comment - the song sounds very Pink Floyd. As I listen to it right now I feel that vibe.
Sounds to me like a tribute to Pink Floyd, but maybe I'm just grossly misinterpreting it.
