Green Eyed Lady Lyrics
Green Eyed Lady, lovely lady
Strolling slowly towards the sun
Green eyed lady ocean lady
Soothing every wave that comes
Green eyed lady, passion's lady
Dressed in love she lives for life to be
Green eyed lady feels like I never see
Setting suns and lonely lovers free
Green eyed lady, windswept lady
Moves the night the waves the sand
Green eyed lady ocean lady
Child of nature, friend of man
Green eyed lady passions lady
Dressed in love she lives for life to be
Green eyed lady feels like I never see
Strolling slowly towards the sun
Soothing every wave that comes
Dressed in love she lives for life to be
Setting suns and lonely lovers free
Moves the night the waves the sand
Child of nature, friend of man
Dressed in love she lives for life to be

Yeah, the extended version is much better. Fun song to jam to also. It's pretty obvious that this song is about a boat, which is pretty cool because my uncle who got me started playing guitar named his boat after this song.
green eyed lady- to kiss the green eyed lady means to drown at sea. any sailor knows that the green eyed lady is the ocean.
love this song and i have green eyes too
Sadly radio stations ONLY play the radio edit. The full version is amazing. Time: 6.49
I never thought that this song was about a boat but now that I see it, it does make sense.
One of the most underrated masterpieces of all-time! The Bass, the drums, the guitar and Mainly THE KEYBOARDS, this is just great Music.
The first time I heard this song I was like 7 and I still love it today(I'm 17 now) and I've always thought this song was about a chick who was a hippie."Child of nature, friend of man" Sounds like a flower chid to me but weather its about a boat, a hippie, or the Statue of Liberty(?) It's still a good song.
This song personifies a sail boat to a green eyed lady. What a great idea for a song!
Great song. Green eyes are hot too.
This song is about a lady with green eyes. . . .
Hence the title; "Green Eyed Lady". I think that is pretty obvious.
Although it could be about a cat. Some cats have green eyes and felines have a lot of feminine qualities (i.e; lady).
