S.O.S Lyrics

Didn't know what to say, nothing new to tell ya
Downtime I create, enter self-destructor
Sever all, no more ties, walk away from each other
I know you're my brother and I don't even know ya

Both beard and my face growing longer
The stench of decay growing stronger
Reality and dream intermingle
Contently swallow shit on a shingle

Reality and dream intermingle

Don't know what to say, nothing new to tell ya
Downtime i create, enter self-destructor
Sever all, no more ties, walk away from each other
I know you're my brother and I don't even know ya

Both beard and my face growing longer
The stench of decay growing stronger
Reality and dream intermingle
Contently swallow shit on a shingle

Reality and dream intermingle

S.O.S. is military lingo for a type of food they eat called "shit on a shingle" hence the lyric.

It's like mutten on a cracker or something like that.

@lastanzabianca Plus he\'s talking to his brother--same one from "Brother," David--and because they are not close (due to Jerry\'s lifestyle), he feels that he can\'t really talk to him, because they seem like strangers. Yknow: "no news here."

Pretty much follows the major theme of the album - locking yourself away and having a "degradation trip". Pun intended. I'll be here all week folks.
