This song is one of the reasons why 90s music was so great. What a classic. It makes me ache for the 90s again.
This song is about a guy who sees a special girl who he really adores, but he is nervous to talk her. He pretends they already know each other in his mind. He wants to know her name and who she is so badly. He writes her letters, dreams about her and thinks about her nonstop in his own privacy. But everytime he sees her, he is left speechless. He promises that if given one more chance, he will talk to her and make a connection with her.
I think this song is about a guy who tried his hardest to get a girl's attention that he really loves, but it's either that the girl doesn't see that he exists or the guy just missed out on his opportunity - and now really wants a second chance to impress her. All he wants is to talk and get to know her, then maybe form something further. A great love song with a good rhythm.
