Jamais Vu Lyrics
I'll pray for such heavy downpours
the pacific's eyes will turn green
the angels above, will not be able to ignore this plea
and wouldn't let up, and mountains would become hills
and until the day i'm here for when this water consumes you
Take as long as you need
to let air replace its rival
(I'll) i'll be on top've the world, so high
how's this for intense?
Like a freight train
it'll barrel through your doors and down your hallways
racing towards your lungs to leave you choking
and gasping for your life you finally realize
this water can just be so damn unforgiving (so damn unforgiving)
Take as long as you need
to let air replace its rival
i'll be on top've the world, so high
how's this for intense?
I can't insist my heart to keep
pumping my blood to all my straining muscles
at this rate, my heart rate will fall just as far
as my expectations of you,
for so long now been holding these wires
my forearms swelling tired
i kept the current alive
the voltage growing in size
i let my arms hit my sides
where's distance... bred
in the heart or in the hand
Take as long as you need
to let air replace its rival
i'll be on top've the world, so high
how's this for intense?
the pacific's eyes will turn green
the angels above, will not be able to ignore this plea

"Jamais Vu" roughly translated means "Never seen", "jamais" meaning "never" in French and "vu" being the past participle of "voir", "to see" in French. A more correct form would be "ne vu jamais", or the most correct form being "je/tu/il|elle n'ai/as/a vu jamais", with whatever form depending on first, second, or third person.
Suicide?
The title Jamais Vu is from the book "Choke" by Chuck Palahnuik, and it means the opposite of Deja Vu, they also get their name Forgive Durden from the book Fight Club with the main character Tyler Durden
it should be "top of the world", not top've. the first two verses talk about the water level of the earth rising from a massive rains. the last verse talks about the continual effort to sustain something.

its about drowning, i think. knowing forgive durden the whole song is a metaphore for something. maybe giving up?
“It's jamais vu. The French opposite of déjà vu where everybody is a stranger no matter how well you think you know them.” -Choke
