this song is ok..not the best on the album, its my least favourite it repeats itself too much..
obviously this song is basically just your average love song he repeats how he was "dead in the water" and she rescued him and made his life so much better.
also "your the woman who made me a man" possibly referring to him losing his virginity to her?

sorry about posting that ten times, my bad....oh yeah and its real sweet that this song is named after such a great band ...i assume thats what the name is about
i know this may sound stupid but maybe this song is about the singers mother...i mean think about it... he does end up saying "your the woman who made me..." and he never finishes that sentence. Plus maybe "i was dead in the water" means how maybe he had no purpose inside his mother cuz his father abondoned them? who knows? all i know is that although this song isnt the best on the album it is pretty good...kinda ironic though that he says "your the woman who made me a man" and his crooning sounds like a girl

I am not sure if the "you're the woman that made me the man" reference is about losing your virginity or not. I personally think that isn't the important 'theme' of the song. I think it's about first loves and discovering yourself because of it. Just my thoughts.
