Silence Calls the Storm Lyrics

Unbalance starts to rise within the population, revolution begins
A hunger for power is launched, their dreams becoming the leader of the alliance
A hidden disturbance is felt throughout the community, it's force augments
The stakes are increasing, tension (is high), a clash of the titans
Begins to shed reality on the realm

Guidance ignored, they strive to achieve their goals

Opponents will grow
They will plan a future
Disregarding lives
To focus on their desires

Allies will assist
Honor is revealed
Some will return
Others will rest in war
A new world defined in tears

A new world defined in tears

Trying to achieve an order in the senate: seeking the moles
Members are few who do provide selfishly, aiming to conquer vengeance of man
Rebels increase their offense, they wear alone soldiers see the path's intent
They disagree but voiceless words are heard

Guidance ignored, the wisdom is overlooked

Opponents will grow
They will plan a future
Disregarding lives
To focus on their desires
The end of a race begins

Allies will assist
Honor is revealed
Some will return
Others will rest in war
A new world defined in tears

A new world defined in tears

Wow, awsome/very intense song, not sure what its about.

I think the song (on the surface at least) is about a political revolution and the rise of an opposing party that exists solely to fulfill its own goals. This brings about dissension and sparks the beginning of a new leadership of sorts. I think it's just describing a possible end to all things we know and that are good through the rule of the privileged and selfish few.

Either way, amazing song.

I think the song is about a very specific type of political revolution. One that starts out as a grassroots movement and spreads amongst the masses. Following this, instead of following the ideals of the revolution, the leaders begin to fight over power. And eventually, the main goals of the revolutions are purely the satisfaction of personal satisfaction at all costs.

At this stage of the revolution, it will be obvious who is with and who is without honor. Those with honor will leave for better things and those without will charge onwards towards bloody conflict. The main leaders of the revolution will raise armies against each other. The members of these armies, although knowing that what they're fighting for is wrong will continue to do so.

At the end of the day, it doesn't who will emerge as victor as both will lead a world just as corrupt and selfish as the one they sought to end.

Personally, this reminds me a LOT of the French Revolution. With Jacobins and Girondists going at each other with little care for the population. In the end, bloody mess caused by the Committee of Public Safety in the Reign of Terror was almost as bad, if not worse, than the things that the House of Bourbon did.

That's just my 2 cents.
