The marriage has gone to my head
The wedding trumpets are dead
Replaced by a static noise
So loud that I can't hear my own voice
Will those signs lead me out of here?
Well, just take me somewhere
To the planes where angels sing
Through the chime and the clattering
For what it's worth the truth might hurt you
(There is a little you can do)
When shadows fall I will desert you
(Then that's what you will do)
For what it's worth the truth might hurt you
(And with a tear of morning dew
My temples born anew)
Lead me inside
Lead me inside
Lead me inside out of the cold
Let me inside
Feel me inside
Where the seed is sown
Our love's dead by dawn
And as the day begins
The sun is soothing my skin
And I am divided
I am divided
For love
I have to say
That all of this time
I waited for someone like you
You are my dream
You are my dream
You are my dream
The wedding trumpets are dead
Replaced by a static noise
So loud that I can't hear my own voice
Well, just take me somewhere
To the planes where angels sing
Through the chime and the clattering
(There is a little you can do)
When shadows fall I will desert you
(Then that's what you will do)
For what it's worth the truth might hurt you
(And with a tear of morning dew
My temples born anew)
Lead me inside
Lead me inside out of the cold
Feel me inside
Where the seed is sown
Our love's dead by dawn
The sun is soothing my skin
I am divided
For love
That all of this time
I waited for someone like you
You are my dream
You are my dream
You are my dream

This song is about the Thelemic deity Nuit. (In Cain Edlund mentions Nuit directly "Blessed be our lady Nuit.")
The use of the word divided is a reference to a line in the first chapter (the chapter given by Nuit) of the Book of the Law (Liber Al Vel Legis).
It reads: "29. For I am divided for love's sake, for the chance of union.
You will also find the dew referenced a line above " and the dew of her light bathing his whole body in a sweet-smelling perfume of sweat." AKA a cleansing effect on his temple before morning come and Nuit (night) is separated from her lover (Hadit, Edlund).
I love this song. I absolutely love it. Johan's voice is amazing...So soothing.
I think it might be a song about a marriage breaking apart, maybe the woman wants to leave him.
"Lead me inside out of the cold" would be how he describes that he feels left out...
^ Not necessarily. Maybe just the thought of it, not literally. Good song.
