Bad News Bear Lyrics

Haven't seen your face in weeks.
Haven't heard your voice in days.
And now I feel I've lost my chance.
Who needs love, anyway?

So I'm running, running, running out of hope.
And I'm thinking, thinking, thinking I can cope.
So I'm running, running, running out of hope.
And I'm thinking, thinking, thinking I can cope.
Without seeing you tonight.
I'm not seeing you tonight.

My friends all say I'm crazy.
And I'm living in the past.
My friends all say I'm out of my mind.
There's no way that this could last.

So I'm running, running, running out of hope.
And I'm thinking, thinking, thinking I can cope.
So I'm running, running, running out of hope.
And I'm thinking, thinking, thinking I can cope.
Without seeing you tonight.
I'm not seeing you tonight.

Screaming, screaming, screaming and I'm fine.
And I'm dreaming, dreaming, dreaming of tonight.
Screaming, screaming, screaming and I'm fine.
And I'm dreaming, dreaming, dreaming of tonight.
Without seeing you tonight.
I'm not seeing you tonight.

This song is amaaaazing! I think it's about a guy who's girlfriend is always away, like maybe in a band or something, and they got in a fight, and he wants to make up, but there's no way to get in contact with her, and he's "running out of hope." And that maybe in the past, the girlfriend made time for him, but after she became famous, she barely made time for him at all, and the guy's friends are telling him to ditch her, and not think of the way she used to be, because she's not the same girl he fell in love with.
