Awesome song, awesome band. I think this song is sarcastically and ironically poking fun at kids who do nothing but feel sorry for themselves, and it's telling them to chin up, it's not as bad as you think it is.
i think this is stupid, i mean i aint emo, but i dont like people dissing emo kids, its not like they go round makeing people life a misery, thay aint abusive asshole like alot of the rest of the world, why cant you grow up and leave them to their own world? im sure theres other things you can be doing instead of bullying emos, like drink beer!:P but we should be fighting toether not amung ourselfs...

i dont think this song was intended to poke fun at emo kids, but rather to tell emo kids that they shouldnt be so depressed in life because if you think about it, your situation probably isnt that bad. i think patent pending wrote this song at a time when things were going good for them after a rough time...if you listen to the rest of their music, they are kinda emo so it doesnt make sense for them to mock emo kids. they are just saying how you shouldnt be so upset in life because they know what its like. they have been there ebfore but now they are not and they are trying to get the message across that things will get better

What's with all the songs dissing emo kids nowadays? I agree with lonewolfac, leave them alone. Besides, actually writing songs making fun of them is just going to make them more depressed an more...emo-y
seems kinda repetative.
i love this song so much, its obviously about emo kids and how just being around them kinda makes you wanna die... so they should cheer up and then everyone would be happy :)

the song is kinda funny. im am emo-punk myself, but real emo-punk. afterall emo is a sub genre of hardcore punk, not a fashion statement or lifestyle. i love the part at the end where it says i guess ill go eat worms
