Since Mor ve Otesi is a turkish band, it is easy to see that this song is about political situtations in Turkey. Erdogan has the power with most of the votes since 2002. A significant part of the people think that Erdogan manipulates public. For example; most common idea is that religion is the biggest one of these manipulations. Because especially older, religious people say that they were treated badly because of their religion in the old days. In addition they are scared that it will happen again if another one becomes the president etc.

I belive this song says that do not surrender to manipulations. It tells public to wake up and realize all these things and they say it so smoothly, starting with "my dearest friend, our lives depend on you". He is not criticizing or insulting in any ways. He simply asks and call them friend, brother, sister. He is reminding all of us that we live together and we even lost "the beauty of a flyind bird" and "colours" because of all these fights, yellings at each other before we even realize.

He also reference religion saying "it's a sin to continue these corrupt games" meaning they are the real sinners, being on the other side does not mean that he is not religious. He is saying these sides do not split by religion, it does not matter to politics but you still belive it is. "Wake up from your gloomy sleep"

My favourite part is at the end because it woke me up. It is about life in general.

He says these ironically. You make yourself belive that there is nothing you can do to make things right. You have no power or an effect on this giant world. Maybe you are disappointed and tired. Saw all of these things that shock you, discust you but you learned to live with them. Or are you just "numb" now ? You gave up trying "at the end of the road" long time ago. You don't act sincere, you shut yourself to outside and became "lonely".But i still believe in you. You were so close but you will pass the end of the road. So don't you be "lazy". Wake. Up. "You".
