Treasures Lyrics
Night has found its way here
And all I can hear are memories shrill and clear.
Like today man had his way
And stole and what I made
He saw that I was sincere.
So use me up, then throw me away
Build your careers and friendships
Quote on quote and frankly I’m ashamed
That I left my name on her lips.
Cause when it ends they’ll swear it is
So I’ll fall asleep and try not to think twice
About all the things that forever
Will kick me down the steps
For being too nice
Cause everyone’s searching for treasure
And they’ll just dig, dig, dig
Until they cant get out
And die in dirty digging for treasure
But as for me I’m giving up and I'll take my bag
And focus on my treasure forever.
Yes, I know that my treasure is heaven.
And all I can hear are memories shrill and clear.
Like today man had his way
And stole and what I made
He saw that I was sincere.
Build your careers and friendships
Quote on quote and frankly I’m ashamed
That I left my name on her lips.

For being too nice
Cause everyone’s searching for treasure
Until they cant get out
And die in dirty digging for treasure
But as for me I’m giving up and I'll take my bag
And focus on my treasure forever.
Yes, I know that my treasure is heaven.

"&frankly i'm ashamed that i left my name on her lips" these lyrics are soooo great, it is such a beautiful song
"But as for me I’m giving up and I'll take my bow And focus on my treasure forever. Yes, I know that my treasure is heaven."
those lyrics are amazing. bryce is amazing.
"Night has found its way here And all I can hear are memories shrill and clear" That line gives me chills.
I love this song :)
this song is about everyone in the world who focuses on money, other material objects, gossip, etc. and treats others badly, only thinking about thmselves. where-as bryce is trying to forget about their sins, and focus on his own path to heaven. =]
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will lie also." -Matthew 6:21
To me, this song seems to refer to that verse. His treasure is "heaven." Therefore, that's where his heart lies as opposed to so many others who try to find their treasure elsewhere and "dig, dig, dig. until they can't get out." Their heart ends up in the bottom of an inescapable hole.
it's about knowing when to stop. it's about knowing what's right and wrong.
"But as for me I’m giving up and I'll take my bag And focus on my treasure forever. Yes, I know that my treasure is heaven. "
About finding the one your meant to be with, your crystal that you dig for, and just being satisfied with that. otherwise you'll loose it.
as cliche as this sounds this song gives me goose bumps. every word bryce speaks reachs out to me in everyway. this song speaks out and teachs people to stay well grounded and the only important things in life are friendships.
