You and me
Me and you
More than one
Somehow less than two
We can ride our bikes tonight
Around the yard
The stars are shining bright
One day you and I will live on the moon
One day you and I will live on the moon
Back inside I don't know
If I'm Spiderman
Or if I'm G I. Joe
Build a fort in our mother's room
Crawl inside
She'll find us soon
One day you and I will live on the moon
One day you and I will live on the moon
You and me
Me and you
More than one
Somehow less than two

Stick Around
i think this song is beautiful
This song reminds me a great deal, in terms of not only lyrics but also melody and motif, of "We Are Going to Be Friends" by The White Stripes. From the simple chord changes, finger-picking, and lyrical content that seems to be reflecting on the simplicity of childhood.
I found this song so sweet. Super cheesy, but adorable. But then it got to "Build a fort in our mother's room"
So maybe it's about siblings? I thought it was about a girl he liked up until that point..
"More than one but less than two" would suggest that he's talking about an imaginary friend. The whole song seems to be about playing make-believe after all. It has a wonderful whimsical feel to it.
