I guess it's about persons who spend their life in depressions. Always in the search for the reasons why you are like you are, digging deep into your soul to find answers, but they will never come. Sounds to me like Strid (the lyrics are from him) was once a very depressed person who learned to accept his own personality and started to concentrate on the things that really matter to go on with his life. This song is like a warning to others who never go forward because they stop themself with self-analysing. The soul-search will never end, because there are just no answers to find, no matter how deep and often you're doing that.
I hope it's understandable what I am writing, I'm just noticing how difficult it is to me to write this kind of thoughts in english...
Anyway, a really really great song. The "There's no way you can dig much deeper" and "You're stucked you can't remember" parts always let my heart explode, damn beautiful...
He works with depressed teenagers when he's not singing for Soilwork, I know that inspires a lot of his songs. Whether thats the case with this song, I dunno.
