well this song is GREAT! also it has this complete honesty about it... i can imagine thinking that if someone didn't shut up sharpish that my head was just gonna explode. i think it's about a couple who are breaking up & one of them wants to talk everything through & make it clear WHY they're breaking up etc but then the singer just wants to LEAVE the relationship as fast as he can. he doesn't CARE why it's over- it's over & there's nothing he can do to stop that, so he might as well just leave. (that's why he says things like "i don't want you to try & save me... no i don't want you at all" & "if we're through, don't blame me" well that's what i think... anyone got any other ideas? xXx
To me its about the quick sand effect of this materialistic reality we have created. We become more and more reliant on technology and certain conveniances (which we dont need) and are the same things that destroy the beuty of nature and keep us from being truly contempt, Garden of Eden=Paradice. As we develop new and better technologies and more conveniancies we become more and more detached from nature.
A good example of this is TiVo. Before it came about people were perfectly contempt with their tv watching but now that you have it you don't know what you would do without it. Theres no going back now.
