Checking your eyelids for holes is a euphemism for having a nap
I always heard the first two lines as I'm gonna lose weight Ahh Ahh swallow, honey
(as in he's getting oral sex and he's telling her he's cumming!)
Ashamed cos there ain't no comments here
An amazing tune
Kelly said the song is basically about whether if someone gives you a blow job does that make everything okay and forgiven. The title is a saying that relates to ppl who lie.

To me this song is about the fact that, given that this is off the 1st Stereophonics album, they've just gone big time, they're loving it, and it's a good thing, yet the power and rush of fame has got to them. This song is basically admitting that fame has got to them, and explaining to the layman why that is.
Well, maybe the fame hasn't 'got to them' in such a way as to cause arrogance, but it's certainly there and having an effect.
